Dedicated to contributing to the development of gender equality
With 28 years of working in the electricity industry, Ms. Do Nguyet Anh is an inspiring example of her efforts and dedication to contributing to the development of gender equality and the advancement of women.
Directly managing a business with over 26,000 employees and belonging to a large and complex technical economic sector where the organization is usually headed by a man, Ms. Do Nguyet Anh understands the difficulties as well as the advantages of women working in the electricity industry.
Accordingly, at EVNNPC, Ms. Do Nguyet Anh has built the best environment for officers, employees and workers to complete their tasks as well as always creating motivation and development opportunities if the individual is truly worthy, capable and dedicated. Both women and men work in a professional environment, with clear division of functions, tasks and responsibilities from individuals to the collective, with timely, fair and transparent reward systems.
Ms. Do Nguyet Anh said that never before have women participated in leadership and management as much as now, especially in the electricity industry. At EVN, in recent years, the work for women's advancement has been widely implemented and highly practical. In particular, EVN assigned targets for women to participate in leadership and management; the rate of female staff trained and participating in accessing stages is a great step forward in gender equality...
EVNNPC is proud to be one of the units that has done well in gender equality in EVN. The female workforce of the corporation has always been maintained at a stable rate of over 26%, higher than other units in the same group. The proportion of women in management/leadership positions of the corporation is also among the top (over 14%).
In particular, at EVNNPC, the role of female workers has been significantly enhanced when they have stable jobs, and the quality is increasingly improved; female workers are increasingly confident, dynamic, and develop many creative initiatives that are not inferior to men, gradually affirming their position, contributing significantly to the overall achievements of the corporation.
