Accordingly, the enrollment quota for grade 10 of the Gifted High School for the 2025-2026 school year is divided into specialized classes corresponding to the 2 learning facilities as follows:

District 5 campus (study location: 153 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Ward 9, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, organized in the form of one-session study). Includes 7 specialized classes: Math (1 class), IT (1 class), Physics (1 class), Chemistry (1 class), Biology (1 class), English (1 class) and Literature (1 class). Total quota: 245 students, each class has no more than 35 students.

Specialized classes at District 5 campus will focus on training in-depth knowledge of specialized subjects, improving logical thinking skills, combined with STEM educational activities, experiential activities and career guidance in the orientation to become an expert in a specific field related to the subject.

Campus in Thu Duc City (study location: Ho Chi Minh City National University Urban Area, organized as a boarding school). Includes 10 specialized classes: Math (2 classes), IT (1 class), Physics (1 class), Chemistry (1 class), Biology (1 class), English (2 classes) and Literature (2 classes). Total quota: 350 students, each class has no more than 35 students.

Specialized classes at Thu Duc City campus will focus on training interdisciplinary thinking skills (LN) with a specialized subject foundation in solving problems in the fields of natural sciences - technology and social sciences such as: Natural sciences, life sciences, computers, business and management, technology, engineering, language, culture, economics, politics, society... combined with experiential activities to orient related careers.

Conditions for participation in the entrance exam and admission

Students completing junior high school nationwide, with conduct and academic performance ratings for the entire school year of junior high school classes, graduating from junior high school with good or higher grades.

Candidates are required to take 4 entrance exams for grade 10, including 3 compulsory non-specialized subjects (essay and multiple choice): Math, Literature and English. For the specialized subject exam (essay), candidates can choose from the following subjects: Math, Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature and English.

The exam schedule is as follows:

Each candidate can register for a maximum of 2 specialized subjects in the elective specialized subject exam. In case of registering for 2 subjects, candidates must ensure to choose 1 subject in each of the following groups: Group 1: Math - Literature; Group 2: English - Physics - Chemistry - Biology - Information Technology.

Candidates registering for grade 10 admission must satisfy the condition that the specialized classes use the subject combinations corresponding to the subjects the candidates have registered for. In case the candidate registers for a specialized class with a subject combination that does not match any subject combination the candidate has registered for, that wish is considered invalid. Invalid wishes will not be counted in the school's admission process.

Candidates are only admitted to the highest priority wish in the list of registered wishes. Classes are selected based on subject combinations with specific quotas as follows:

Candidates register their wishes online at the registration portal of the Gifted High School. In case parents and candidates need support, they can go directly to the school's District 5 Campus according to the schedule (separate notice) to carry out the registration process at the computers prepared by the school.

Registration time for grade 10 admission at Gifted High School is from 8:00 a.m. on May 5 to 5:00 p.m. on May 11 (including Saturday and Sunday) with 2 fees: Exam organization fee: 150,000 VND/exam subject; Registration fee: 50,000 VND/each registration fee.
