Opening of the 2025 Quang Ngai Provincial Ornamental Plants Exhibition - Competition - Fair

(Baoquangngai.vn) - More than 1,000 ornamental creatures gathered at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center for an exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025).

On the morning of March 24, the Quang Ngai Provincial Ornamental Plants Association held the Opening Ceremony of the Quang Ngai Provincial Ornamental Plants Exhibition - Competition - Fair 2025, attracting thousands of artisans, people, and tourists to enjoy.

Attending the opening ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh; Dr. Nguyen Huu Van - Former member of the Party Central Committee, former State Auditor General, Chairman of the Vietnam Ornamental Plants Association; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Chairman of the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association Huynh Minh Giu.

The 2025 Quang Ngai Provincial Ornamental Plants Exhibition - Competition - Fair will take place from March 20 to April 2, 2025, at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. The ornamental plant display space is large, with more than 1,000 works of bonsai, ornamental rocks, ornamental flowers, ornamental birds, orchids, driftwood, fine art wood and cultural heritage products. Of which, 50 outstanding large and oversized bonsai works will be selected and honored, symbolizing the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025), which is a unique feature of this exhibition.

Chairman of the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association Huynh Minh Giu spoke at the opening ceremony.

Vietnam Ornamental Plants Association awarded a Certificate of Merit to Quang Ngai Provincial Ornamental Plants Association for outstanding achievements in 2024.

The exhibition space has over 70 booths of 28 gardeners from 11 provinces and cities in the country participating. In addition, the exhibition will organize a competition of bonsai, ornamental rocks, singing birds and orchids.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association Huynh Minh Giu said that this is the largest Exhibition - Competition - Fair of Ornamental Plants in Quang Ngai province ever with many unique works of art. The 2025 Provincial Ornamental Plants Exhibition - Competition - Fair is expected to contribute to the development of the ornamental plant industry, becoming a valuable ecological economic sector worthy of the main occupation in agriculture.

The program is organized to exploit the potential, strengths and promote the brand of typical products with high economic value, traditional craft villages, cultural and tourism activities of the province and call for investors to participate in the agricultural sector, especially the ornamental plant sector; create entertainment venues, visit ornamental plants, diverse and unique products for the people. At the same time, introduce and promote the image of the homeland, country and people of Quang Ngai.
