The shipment of Ba Ba Hoi braised mackerel officially exported to the US market will open up new opportunities for the agricultural and food industry of Quang Nam province.

On July 27, Ba Ba Hoi Agricultural and Food Processing Cooperative (Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province) coordinated with LNS Vietnam International Joint Stock Company to organize a handover ceremony for the first batch of Ba Ba Hoi braised mackerel officially exported to the US market.
Accordingly, the first 10 tons of Ba Ba Hoi braised mackerel will be delivered to Ho Chi Minh City port for export to the United States.
Ms. Huynh Thi Thu Thuy - representative of Ba Ba Hoi Cooperative - said that with the goal of introducing the unique culinary features of Quang Nam province to domestic and international people, Ba Ba Hoi Cooperative has invested in and researched to develop seafood products. The products made not only meet domestic demand but also the international market.

“On July 1 , LNS International Joint Stock Company and Ba Ba Hoi Agricultural and Food Processing Cooperative held a signing ceremony for exclusive distribution of braised mackerel and the cooperative’s products in the US market. This is an important milestone not only for Ba Ba Hoi Cooperative but also affirms the cooperative relationship between Quang Nam people living far away from home and their homeland, and also paves the way for Quang Nam’s typical culinary products to reach international friends,” said Ms. Thuy.
Mr. Ho Hung - Regional Director of LNS Vietnam International Joint Stock Company - said that before officially exporting to the US market, Ba Ba Hoi's mackerel products need to be registered with the FDA and have their product composition and indicators tested and analyzed at reputable laboratories around the world.

Mr. Hung also added that the successful export of agricultural and food products of Ba Ba Hoi Cooperative will create more opportunities, helping local businesses access the large US market.

“I hope that the product will be widely used by consumers after being officially distributed through distribution channels in the US market , helping the Vietnamese community abroad fully enjoy the taste of Vietnamese products while missing their homeland ,” Mr. Hung said.
