When completed, the project will help shorten travel time and facilitate travel from Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai) to Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong, enhance connectivity between satellite cities, and expand space for land fund development, services, trade, industry, logistics, etc. for provinces and cities in the region.

In particular, the project contributes to remote traffic diversion and congestion reduction for inner-city routes in Ho Chi Minh City, gradually contributing to the completion of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3.
