According to WCCF Tech , although the Galaxy S25 series has not yet cooled down, leaked information about the Galaxy S26 Ultra generation has begun to appear. According to the latest source, Samsung is testing a prototype version of the S26 Ultra with the same memory configuration as the S25 Ultra, along with the high possibility of being exclusively equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 chip.

Galaxy S26 Ultra and early clues
According to leaker @PandaFlashPro, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is being tested with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, similar to the S25 Ultra. S-Pen lovers can also breathe a sigh of relief as Samsung is still keeping this feature on the test version. However, it is still unclear whether the features that were removed on the S25 Ultra will be restored.
The most notable point in this leaked information is that the S26 Ultra test version is equipped with a Qualcomm chipset, believed to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2. The reason for this may stem from Samsung's difficulty in producing the Exynos 2600 chip on the 2nm GAA process, leading to unsatisfactory output.
Samsung is working hard to improve the Exynos 2600 chip yield, aiming to reach 70% yield before mass production. However, the company's time is limited, with only about 10 months left to achieve the target. If it fails, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may launch exclusively with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2.
While these leaks are interesting, users should still be cautious. This is just the testing phase and Samsung can still change its mind at the last minute. Fans should wait for official information from the company in the coming time to have a more accurate view of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
