The Mac Studio is called by Apple as the super powerful machine for AI, using the M3 Ultra chip, surpassing the Mac Pro model using the M2 Ultra chip. This model also has many of the highest maximum parameters currently available for personal computers such as up to 512GB of RAM and 16TB of internal memory.
It is known that the machine is capable of running large language models with more than 600 billion parameters stored entirely in memory thanks to advanced GPU and maximum RAM of 512GB, equivalent to the internal memory of many popular computers.
The M3 Ultra chip is built using the Ultra Fusion packaging structure, which connects two M3 Max blocks via 10,000 high-speed connections for low latency and high bandwidth. This helps deliver powerful performance and power efficiency. UltraFusion helps to pack a total of 184 billion transistors on a single chip.
The M3 Ultra chip includes a 32-core CPU with 24 performance cores and 8 energy-saving cores, providing performance 1.5 times faster than the M2 Ultra and 1.8 times faster than the M1 Ultra. In addition, the M3 Ultra also owns the largest GPU of all Apple chips with 80 graphics cores, providing performance twice as fast as the M2 Ultra and 2.6 times faster than the M1 Ultra.
The Mac Studio 2025 supports Thunderbolt 5 ports, allowing for data transfer speeds of up to 120 Gb/s. It also has a range of connections for professional users such as 10 Gb Ethernet, HDMI, a front SDXC card slot, integrated wifi and bluetooth.
Mac Studio starts at 57.9 million VND. The M3 Ultra chip version starts at 116 million VND and goes up to 368.5 million VND for 512GB Ram, 16TB SSD.
