Samsung is developing new foldable smartphone models, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. Recently, a source revealed quite interesting news about the battery of the successor model Galaxy Z Flip6.
According to information from Galaxy Club, the Z Flip7 will have 2 batteries with a rated capacity of 2,985mAh (EB-BF767ABY) and 1,189mAh (EB-BF766ABY). That will create a total rated capacity of 4,174mAh and a total normal capacity of 4,300mAh.
It is known that the two batteries of Z Flip6 have a total rated capacity of 3,887mAh and a normal capacity of 4,000mAh. Thus, the Galaxy Z Flip7 will have a battery capacity 7.5% higher than the current model.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which promises to deliver superior performance over the previous generation as well as more power efficiency. The device has larger main and secondary screens, measuring 6.85 inches and 4 inches respectively.
According to the leaked render, the Z Flip7 will measure 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 when opened (9.1 mm thick with the camera bump). So the device is the same thickness but taller and wider than the Z Flip6.
The Z Flip7 will still only have two cameras on the back: a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP camera for super wide-angle shots. The device has 12GB of RAM with 256GB/512GB of internal memory options.
Additionally, on social network X, an account named @PandaFlashPro said that Samsung has improved the hinge design on the Galaxy Z Flip7, helping to reduce the crease running in the middle of the foldable screen.
Leaks reveal that the Galaxy Z Flip7 supports 25W fast charging with the same design but thinner. The device will come with new Galaxy AI features to enhance the user experience.
