Located at 11 Le Phung Hieu, on the most beautiful street of Hanoi, Sun Group's first boutique hotel features unique Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture, recreating a luxurious inn for famous artists and composers during the golden age of Opera in the 1920s. In particular, the hotel's 47 rooms are named after world-famous actors, singers, and screenwriters of this era such as Sarah Bernhardt, Eleonora Duse, Lina Cavalieri... or legendary operas such as Madama Butterfly, Turando, Scheherazade to remind us of the "glorious" past of this noble art form. Each room has a collection of artworks or memorabilia according to the theme of each room, making visitors feel like they are lost in a miniature museum right in the heart of the capital.

In addition to its unique architecture, one of the things that makes Capella Hanoi especially attractive to tourists is its extremely unique and diverse culinary style. In the first announcement of Michelin Guide in Hanoi, Capella Hanoi is not only the only hotel in Vietnam to own a 1-star Michelin restaurant - Hibana by Koki (serving Japanese Teppanyaki cuisine), but also has 2 other restaurants honored in the Michelin Selected list (restaurants selected and recommended by Michelin to try) including Backstage (serving cuisine with a strong Northern Vietnamese style) and Izakaya by Koki (serving a diverse Japanese culinary style - Izakaya).
Capella Hanoi is the only hotel in Vietnam that owns a 1-star Michelin restaurant - Hibana by Koki
Shortly after that in July, the prestigious American news agency CNN listed Capella Hanoi with Hibana by Koki in the top 20 hotels with the best Michelin-starred restaurants in the world. According to experts, it is very rare for a hotel restaurant to achieve a Michelin star, so the fact that Hibana by Koki has achieved this, after only 3 years of operation, is truly a miracle.
Since its official launch, Sun Group's exceptionally luxurious boutique hotel has been continuously honored by international award organizations and media. In early June 2023, Travel + Leisure announced Capella Hanoi as the best city hotel in Vietnam. The World Travel Awards Asia 2022 honored Capella Hanoi as "Asia's Leading Luxury Boutique Hotel" and shortly after, the hotel continued to be praised by the New York Times (USA) as one of the 10 most outstanding new hotels in Asia.
