Kinhtedothi-“The trust of the people and the recognition of leaders at all levels in the political system are the measures of operational efficiency and motivation for the cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) at all levels in the city to continue to strive for innovation in every job and event”- said the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.

This afternoon, November 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hanoi City held a meeting with VFF officials of the city through the periods on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Nguyen Lan Huong; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Nguyen Sy Truong and Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City chaired the Conference.

Informing about the results of the activities of the Fatherland Front at all levels of the city this year, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Nguyen Sy Truong said that 2024 is a year of "acceleration", which is very important in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th National Party Congress of Hanoi and celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital. For the system of Fatherland Fronts at all levels, this is the year to successfully organize the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term.

In the context of the world situation with many fluctuations with opportunities, advantages and difficulties, challenges intertwined, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the City has always inherited the tradition of the Capital Front, strived to innovate the content and methods of operation, concretized the targets; proactively built and promptly implemented the annual work plan associated with the local political tasks; identified and implemented key and focal tasks, achieving many positive results.

“The contents and tasks according to the identified programs and plans and the sudden and arising tasks are resolutely and proactively implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels of the city. In particular, we focus on promoting the contents of work related to the role of representing the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people in the new situation, making efforts to accompany the government in participating in perfecting the policies on socio-economic development of the capital; implementing well the social security work... contributing to continuing to affirm the position, role, rights and responsibilities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the political system, which is highly appreciated by all classes of people,” affirmed Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong.

In particular, the Conference listened to some opinions shared and exchanged by cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City through the periods, expressing excitement at the results achieved in recent times as well as proposing some solutions to enhance the prestige and position of the Fatherland Front at all levels of the city in the coming time.

With sincere thanks for the opinions of the City Fatherland Front officials through the periods, Chairwoman of the City Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong affirmed that the City Fatherland Front at all levels will seriously demonstrate the proposed contents and contributions in the coming working process, increasingly enhancing the position, prestige and work efficiency of the Vietnam Fatherland Front officials.

“The trust of the people and the recognition of leaders at all levels in the political system are the measure of the effectiveness of operations and also the joy of the Fatherland Front officials at all levels of the city, and the motivation for the Fatherland Front officials to continue to strive to innovate in every job and every event,” Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong expressed.

Regarding the activities of the Liaison Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front cadres at all levels in the city, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city assigned the Standing Vice Chairman to soon chair a meeting with the Office and the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city so that all work of the Liaison Committee from next year will have better operating conditions.

With the new tasks to implement the General Secretary's directive to bring the country into a new era and participate in preparing for Party Congresses at all levels, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong affirmed that the City Fatherland Front will actively and effectively implement them; in Hanoi, the district-level Front officials currently only hold concurrent positions in Thanh Oai district, while the other 29 districts of the city no longer have this model.

In addition, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City expressed his hope that the Vietnam Fatherland Front officials at all levels in the City through the periods would continue to participate in the Advisory Councils of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, from promoting the rich experiences gained through the work of the Fatherland Front. At the same time, he hoped that the Vietnam Fatherland Front officials at all levels in the City who have been active in the locality, with the honor and responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front officials of the City, would continue to spread the position and prestige of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the community, so that the beautiful image of the Vietnam Fatherland Front officials at all levels in the City would increase the people's trust in the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
