On July 21, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) issued decisions on determining the threshold to ensure input quality for the health sector with university-level practice certificates and the university-level teacher training sector and the college-level preschool education sector in 2023.
Accordingly, the threshold to ensure input quality from high school graduation exam scores to enroll in these two groups of majors in 2023 for candidates in region 3 with the minimum score (without coefficient) of all combinations of 3 exams/subjects, basically remains stable as in 2022.
The Ministry of Education and Training will keep the medical entrance exam scores the same as in 2022 (illustrative photo - internet source).
Specifically, the admission threshold for university-level teacher training programs is 19 points. For Physical Education, Music Pedagogy, and Fine Arts Pedagogy, it is 18 points for the admission combination of 3 cultural subjects. Other admission combinations are implemented according to the provisions of the current Admission Regulations.
The admission threshold for the College-level Early Childhood Education program is 17 points for the admission combination of 3 cultural subjects. Other admission combinations are implemented according to the provisions of the current Admission Regulations.
For the group of health sectors with practice certificates, the quality assurance threshold for the Medicine and Dentistry sectors is 22.5 points; Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine is 21 points; the sectors including: Nursing, Preventive Medicine, Midwifery, Medical Testing Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, Dental Restoration Technology is 19 points.
