Hanoi University has just announced the conditional admission scores (excluding high school graduation conditions) under the combined admission method in 2024.

This year, the school will take 45% of the total quota according to this admission method. Of which, the 402 admission method is for candidates with the results of the Hanoi National University's capacity assessment from 105/150 points or the Ho Chi Minh City National University from 850/1,200 points or the thinking assessment results of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology from 21/30 points with the average of 5 semesters of high school.

Admission score = Converted score * 10 + Average score (HK1L10 + HK2L10 + HK1L11 + HK2L11 + HK1L12)/5 + Converted priority score (if any).

Admission method 408 is for candidates with SAT standardized test results of 1,100/1,600 points or higher; candidates with ACT test results of 24/36 points or higher; candidates with A-Level certificates use the results of 3 subjects to replace the 3 subjects for admission of the registered major, the score of each subject is 60/100 points or higher (equivalent to C, PUMrange ≥ 60).

Admission method 410 is for candidates with international foreign language certificates or English proficiency certificates according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnam combined with academic scores.

Admission method 501 is for students in specialized classes and bilingual classes at specialized high schools combined with academic records.

Admission score = Average score of foreign language subjects of 5 semesters of high school (Semester 1L10 + Semester 2L10 + Semester 1L11 + Semester 2L11 + Semester 1L12) + Average score of 5 semesters of high school (Semester 1L10 + Semester 2L10 + Semester 1L11 + Semester 2L11 + Semester 1L12) + Converted priority score (if any).

Admission method 502 is for students who won First, Second, Third prizes at the provincial/municipal level combined with their academic records.

Admission method 503 for members of the national gifted student team combined with academic records.

Admission method 505 is for students who participate in the monthly round of the Road to Olympia contest combined with their academic records.

In 2024, the school will recruit students according to 3 methods: Direct recruitment and priority recruitment (5% of total enrollment target), Combined recruitment (45% of total enrollment target), Recruitment based on high school graduation exam results (50% of total enrollment target).

According to the school's announcement, the 2024 tuition fee for the group of majors taught in languages ​​is 720,000 VND/credit for subjects in the generaleducation knowledge block, 820,000 - 1,740,000/credit depending on the major for subjects in the basic knowledge block of the major, major, supplementary, graduation project, internship and graduation thesis.

For the language majors, the standard training program modules and the general education and basic industry knowledge modules (taught in Vietnamese) of the advanced training program are 720,000 VND/credit. The basic industry knowledge modules (taught in foreign languages), majors, majors, internships and graduation theses of the advanced training program are from 1,140,000 - 1,400,000 VND/credit depending on the major.

Tuition fees are adjusted each school year according to the Government's tuition adjustment roadmap and depending on the actual situation with an increase of no more than 15% per school year.

In 2024, Hanoi University plans to enroll 3,300 students, an increase of nearly 200 compared to last year. In addition to combined admission, the school will consider direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (5%) and consider the 2024 high school graduation exam scores (50%).

In 2023, the standard score for the high school graduation exam of Hanoi University is 24.2-36.15 points on a scale of 40 (foreign language doubled), the highest is Korean Language.
