As planned, from August 13, the Ministry of Education and Training will conduct virtual filtering of university admission wishes for 2024 nationwide. The virtual filtering process is carried out to determine the candidates' highest admission wishes.
In each virtual filtering, the software will filter out candidates who have passed the higher choice to another school from the expected admission list that the school sends to the system. The schools then adjust the benchmark scores and candidate list to match the quota, then upload it to the system to continue filtering. The virtual filtering will end before 5:00 p.m. on August 17.
Along with the general virtual filtering process of the Ministry of Education and Training, the university group also formed two virtual filtering groups in the North and the South. The Northern virtual filtering group is chaired by the University of Technology and the Southern virtual filtering group is coordinated by the Ho Chi Minh City National University.
