Minister Nguyen Hong Dien has just handed over decisions on the transfer, appointment, and job transfer of a series of leaders of units of the Ministry of Industry and Trade after the organization's restructuring and streamlining.
At the meeting of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Tran Quang Huy announced the Prime Minister's decision and decisions on the mobilization, appointment, transfer, and reception of civil servants leading units under this ministry.
Specifically, receiving Mr. Phan Van Ban - Member of the Party Executive Committee, former Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union, term IV, 2023-2028, transferred to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to join the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2020-2025;
Transferring Mr. Le An Hai - former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the 2020-2025 term, to take up the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, term IV, term 2023-2028;
Appoint Mr. Trinh Anh Tuan , Director of the Department of Trade Defense, member of the National Competition Commission to hold the position of Chairman of the National Competition Commission;
Transferring Mr. Luong Hoang Thai - Director of the Multilateral Trade Policy Department to take up the position at the Trade Defense Department and appointing him as Director of the Trade Defense Department;
Transfer Mr. Le Trieu Dung - former Chairman of the National Competition Commission to take up the position of Multilateral Trade Policy Department and appoint him as Director.
At the conference, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien said that in the current context, the reorganization of the apparatus and personnel arrangement at all levels has been, is and will be taking place. This is not simply a matter of merging the apparatus but also streamlining the team. Therefore, in the future, the next step will be to streamline the team, and to have an effective working team.
Regarding the Ministry of Industry and Trade, on February 26, the Government issued Decree No. 40 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, replacing Decree 96 dated November 29, 2022.
Up to this point, the Ministry has promptly issued decisions regulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structures of the units under the Ministry and decisions on personnel mobilization and arrangement for the units of the Ministry; especially the mobilization and appointment of leadership positions of units subject to streamlining and merger.
Minister Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized that in the current context, it is necessary to arrange and rearrange to both conform to the spirit of streamlining the apparatus and comply with regulations, the person holding the position of head of the position cannot serve more than 2 terms.
"In the coming time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to review, arrange, organize, mobilize, and rotate appropriately the staff at the department and division levels of the ministry because the ministry has reduced 6 focal points compared to before," said the Minister.
Regarding the Standing Committee of the Ministry's Party Committee and the Ministry's leaders, the Minister said that he will study the assignment and arrangement of personnel for cadres in a reasonable manner. At the same time, he called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole industry to continue to unite and unite to overcome difficulties and challenges, and continue to successfully complete tasks in the new period.
