Global 2000 is one of the most prestigious and comprehensive rankings of the world's largest and most powerful companies. Forbes analyzes, evaluates and publishes the Global 2000 list based on four criteria: revenue, profit, total assets and market value.
According to Forbes' list, BIDV has strong growth in all evaluation indicators: revenue reached 6.04 billion USD, profit reached 779.6 million USD, total assets reached 89.95 billion USD and market capitalization reached 9.38 billion USD.
Also according to the Global 2000 list, among the Vietnamese commercial banks ranked, BIDV leads in terms of revenue and total assets. With 9 consecutive years on the Forbes Global 2000 list and continuous positive improvements in rankings (up 524 places compared to 2022), BIDV's position, reputation, strong, safe, effective and sustainable development potential in Vietnam as well as globally has been affirmed.
This year, Vietnam has 5 representatives in the Forbes Global 2000 list, all of which are banks. In recent times, the Vietnamese banking industry has made important contributions to the development of the national economy and expanded international economic exchanges. The strong growth rate and increasingly improved rankings of Vietnamese enterprises have contributed to strengthening the country's position and prestige in the international arena.
A total of 58 countries are represented on the 2023 Global 2000 list, with the United States leading the way with 611 companies, followed by China with 346. The companies on this year's Global 2000 list have a combined revenue of $50.8 trillion, profits of $4.4 trillion, total assets of $231 trillion, and market value of $74 trillion.

In addition to Forbes, BIDV has also been recognized and highly appreciated by many prestigious domestic and international organizations. Most recently, the world's leading valuation consulting firm Brand Finance (UK) continued to rank BIDV in the list of the 500 most valuable banking brands in the world for many consecutive years, ranking 161st in 2023 (up 51 places compared to 2022).
