Bich Dam is one of the farthest island villages in Nha Trang Bay, about 15km from the center of the coastal city, with a natural area of 250.91ha, with 228 households and 867 people living there.
The islanders mainly work in mining, aquaculture and self-employment.
Bich Dam still retains its wild and idyllic beauty. The island’s elders say the name Bich Dam was given because it is located in the middle of year-round emerald-green waters.
To get here, visitors can take a boat at Phu Quy wharf in Nha Trang, there is one daily trip from the mainland to the island, taking about an hour.
In addition, if you want to be quick and not have to wait long, visitors can rent a canoe to go to the island.
Arriving at Bich Dam, visitors immediately feel the peaceful atmosphere, leisurely strolling on the streets around the residential area, looking out at the clear blue sea,
On the island there are also tourist attractions such as Bich Dam communal house, Hon Lon lighthouse, Bich Son pagoda, An Thanh temple... In addition, the cuisine on the island is famous for fresh seafood, rustic dishes such as fish noodle soup, and rice noodle soup.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mang (53 years old, running a business providing accommodation and experience services for tourists in Bich Dam) said that when coming to the island, tourists mainly like to experience the activities of fishermen and trek on trails leading to high places to admire the peaceful scenery.
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Tra (a tourist from Hanoi) expressed her excitement when coming to Bich Dam because this was the most relaxing and peaceful destination during her trip to Nha Trang.
"Although I only stayed for one night, I found the people here very friendly and hospitable. Although there are not many tourist services , I think this will be a place that attracts many people, especially those who want to get away from the bustling city to immerse themselves in nature," Ms. Tra shared.
