On the night of the incident, the Ministry of Public Security quickly increased its professional forces, deployed synchronous measures to surround and block off relevant areas, protect government headquarters, ensure security and safety for people and arrest the suspects. At the same time, urgently implemented policies and regimes, promptly visited and encouraged the families of the comrades who sacrificed and were injured; visited and encouraged the families of the officials and people who were victims.
Major General Dang Hong Duc pointed out that, with the spirit of fiercely attacking and capturing the subjects, up to now, the police force has arrested and handled more than 50 subjects directly involved in the incident. Currently, all the leaders of this incident have been arrested by the authorities and many weapons have been seized; 3 hostages were absolutely rescued safely. Regarding the direction and measures in the coming time, Major General Dang Hong Duc emphasized that the Ministry of Public Security will continue to pursue all criminals and seize all weapons and explosives.
