On the morning of February 14, comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee chaired the meeting of the Organizing Committee for the 50th Anniversary of Duc Lap Liberation Day to deploy tasks.
At the meeting, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province reported on the progress of implementing the tasks of departments, branches, units and localities under the direction of the Head of the Organizing Committee.
Up to now, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has issued an Official Dispatch guiding propaganda content to guide units and localities in implementation.
The Provincial People's Committee has issued an official dispatch to the Academy of Politics - Ministry of National Defense requesting coordination. Currently, the assigned units are implementing tasks related to the Workshop "Duc Lap Victory - Looking Back Half a Century". The reportage script "Duc Lap - Dak Mil, a heroic land" and the art program of the celebration have been completed, ensuring the strictness of history, literature and artistic value.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Dak Mil District Cultural and Communication Center surveyed and agreed to choose the lobby of the District Cultural and Communication Center as the venue for the photo exhibition “50 years of Dak Mil’s construction and development”. Currently, the list of photos and artifacts expected to be displayed has been established, and the plan and layout for the display are being built.
Dak Mil district has directed communes and towns to carry out cultural, sports and tourism activities to celebrate the anniversary.
Based on the proposal of the Dak Mil District People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has drafted a document to advise the Provincial People's Committee to send to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to propose a unified policy of fireworks display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Duc Lap Liberation Day (March 9, 1975 - March 9, 2025).
In addition, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has compiled and sent to the Department of Finance a request for additional funding to serve the organization of activities to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Duc Lap Liberation Day (March 9, 1975 - March 9, 2025).
Decoration work is underway, including stage decoration, celebration area, visual propaganda on central district roads and flag hanging along National Highway 14. The LED screen system at Dak Mil Square will be used to promote the event. The celebration is expected to take place on March 9, 2025. The program will have a rehearsal on March 8, 2025.
Concluding the meeting, comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units to continue reviewing and completing assigned tasks, ensuring progress and quality.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with the People's Committee of Dak Mil district to calculate and adjust the scale of the stage to suit the content of the art program. Activities within the framework of the celebration need to be cleverly integrated to promote the image and potential for economic, cultural and social development of the locality. At the same time, deeply introduce the land, people, history and traditional culture of the ethnic people of Dak Mil district, contributing to spreading values to friends inside and outside the province as well as our overseas Vietnamese.
The celebration must be organized solemnly, thoughtfully, practically, effectively, safely, economically, in accordance with the socio-economic conditions of the province, creating a deep and meaningful impression for this important event.
