Traffic accident on Highway 26 leaves 4 people injured

The accident between a car and a tractor on National Highway 26 through Krong Buk commune, Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province left 4 people injured and hospitalized.

The five-seater car was badly damaged at the scene.

On the afternoon of March 27, Dak Lak provincial authorities examined the scene and investigated the cause of a traffic accident on National Highway 26 that left four people injured and hospitalized.

Initial information, at about 3:25 p.m. on March 27, a black five-seat car with license plate number 51A-1798 driven by Le Van Hoa, born in 1988, residing in Ho Chi Minh City, carrying two people was traveling on National Highway 26 from Khanh Hoa province to Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province.

When reaching Km 109+900 National Highway 26 in Krong Buk commune, Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province, the above car collided with a tractor with license plate number: 47MK-280.45 driven by Y Druat Kbuor born in 1990, residing in Krong Buk commune, Krong Pac district, in the opposite direction and was crossing the road.

Two people on the tractor were thrown onto the road and seriously injured and were taken to the Central Highlands General Hospital for emergency treatment.

At that time, the tractor was carrying Mr. Y Jia, born in 1986, residing in Krong Buk commune. The accident caused two people riding the tractor to be seriously injured and taken to the Central Highlands General Hospital for emergency treatment, while two people riding the car were slightly injured and were given first aid at the Krong Pac District Medical Center. The car drove onto the sidewalk, crashed into a sign, and then stopped.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by authorities.
