Yen Mo District Party Committee's Propaganda Department Promotes the Role of Leading the Way

Comrade Mai Cao Vi, Head of the Propaganda Department of Yen Mo District Party Committee, said: Closely following the direction and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department has focused on implementing propaganda tasks to ensure comprehensiveness, synchronization, timeliness, and focus.

With the motto "go first to pave the way, go together to implement, go later to summarize" , the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department has focused on innovating propaganda and dissemination of directives and resolutions of the Central, the province and the district; promptly grasping and orienting public opinion related to major policies and guidelines as well as sudden and arising issues in the district (especially in site clearance work to implement projects in the district).

At the same time, focus on political theory education, propaganda, and Party history education; actively participate in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, contribute to stabilizing the situation, and successfully carry out local political tasks.

The motto "going first to pave the way..." has been implemented systematically and consistently from the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department to the grassroots Propaganda Department. Accordingly, after receiving the directives and resolutions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee; closely following the plan of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and the directives and instructions of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the grassroots have proactively advised the Party Committee to develop a plan to organize the study, dissemination and propaganda of directives and resolutions to cadres and party members to ensure quality, correctness, sufficient composition and time according to regulations.

The rate of cadres and party members participating in studying the Party's directives and resolutions reached over 96%. Through the preliminary and final review of the implementation of directives and resolutions, the results achieved were evaluated, the shortcomings, limitations, difficulties and obstacles were pointed out, lessons were drawn and solutions were found to carry out political tasks at each Party Committee, locality and unit.

Also according to the Head of the Propaganda Department of Yen Mo District Party Committee: In thoroughly grasping and implementing the Party's resolution, the Department has focused on advising the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to innovate the organization and learning process in a concise and targeted manner.

At the same time, improve the effectiveness of propaganda and agitation work to implement political, economic and social tasks in the direction of concretizing major viewpoints and key tasks stated in the District Party Congress and annual socio-economic development tasks of localities.

For Resolutions and Directives of special importance and topics, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee established a Steering Committee and assigned the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department to mobilize and strengthen District Reporters to go to the grassroots to both implement and inspect, so that a lot of information can be provided, achieving high quality and persuasiveness.

The organization of studying the Party's directives and resolutions in the district has been serious and of high quality, contributing to raising awareness among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life about the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies, creating high unity in will and action, promoting the strength of the entire political system and the whole society, actively bringing the Party's guidelines and resolutions into life.

In particular, in recent years, the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department has actively and proactively advised the leadership and directed the implementation of promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with the implementation of the Provincial Party Committee's annual work theme. The focus is on organizing thematic activities at Party cells with the contents of discipline, responsibility, and promoting administrative reform; the rate of cadres and Party members participating in activities is over 97%; 100% of Party committees, Party cells, agencies and units have implemented the registration of collective and individual efforts.

Through implementation, there have been positive changes in all levels, sectors, cadres and party members in terms of discipline and responsibility in performing tasks, improving spirit, awareness and attitude towards serving the people, and actively implementing administrative reform work in the district.

In 2022, Yen Mo led the whole province in the district-level administrative reform index. In that overall success, there was an important contribution from the propaganda sector in propagating, raising awareness and responsibility for performing public duties of the team of cadres and civil servants.

To meet the requirements and tasks of propaganda work in the new situation, the Propaganda Department of Yen Mo District Party Committee has actively advised to consolidate, improve, foster and improve the professional qualifications, expertise and theoretical level of the propaganda team from the district to the grassroots. Currently, 100% of the staff and experts of the Propaganda Department of Yen Mo District Party Committee have university degrees, many comrades have master's degrees and advanced political theory degrees. The staff in charge of propaganda work in communes and towns have all been trained and provided with basic professional skills.

Professional qualifications have been improved, the staff doing propaganda work from the district to the grassroots level have been more proactive in advising the Party committees at all levels to develop action programs, organize and implement many Resolutions, many topics on ethics education, lifestyle, and political theory education in the locality.

In particular, it has focused on advising the Party Committee to effectively resolve and handle arising cases, especially regarding the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic; the people's ideological situation in implementing the Party's policies and the State's laws; the implementation of collecting people's opinions on the draft Land Law (amended); the work of preventing corruption and negativity; issues related to land, environment, social security, security and order; the construction of the project to expand the construction of the 54-hole Yen Thang Lake golf course and tourism complex (in Yen Thanh and Yen Dong communes)..., contributing significantly to maintaining political security, social order and safety, serving the socio-economic development in the locality.
