On the morning of May 12, the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 held a conference to deploy tasks. Comrade Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee chaired the conference. Also attending were members of the Organizing Committee, representatives of districts, cities, and a number of tourist areas and spots in the province.
At the conference, delegates listened to the leaders of the Department of Tourism report on the progress of implementing Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023. Accordingly, this year's Tourism Week will officially take place for 8 days from May 27 to June 4 with many attractive activities such as: Organizing a walking street; displaying traditional handicraft products, OCOP products of the province; Tam Coc Golden Season photo tour; art photo exhibition and many other unique cultural and artistic exchange programs.
This year, the Opening Ceremony continues to be held at the live stage, set up in the rice fields in the Hang 2 area (Tam Coc Tourist Area). In particular, the "ly ngu vong nguyet" (carp watching the moon) rice field is a new and unique tourism product, promising to bring visitors interesting experiences when participating in this event.
For the success of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan very early with specific requirements and tasks for each unit. Based on the assigned tasks, relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities have been actively preparing all conditions with a proactive and positive spirit.
In particular, information and propaganda work to promote the event has been stepped up, while actively improving conditions to ensure safety, hygiene, security and order, site clearance, etc. In particular, functional units and branches have closely coordinated in monitoring and caring for rice in the Tam Coc field area to ensure that the rice flowers and ripens evenly to serve Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023.
Praising the active participation of sectors, units and localities, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung requested that units continue to promote the spirit of determination and creativity, and better perform assigned tasks.
The comrade assigned the Department of Tourism to speed up the completion of the script for the Opening Ceremony to ensure solemnity, thoughtfulness, safety, attractiveness, demonstrating the potential and strengths of the province as well as the cultural, historical and traditional values of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, the Department continues to closely coordinate with units, businesses and localities to promptly grasp and inform about difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process for timely resolution.
Assign the People's Committee of Hoa Lu district to continue to do a good job of environmental sanitation, ensuring security and order, traffic safety, creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful environment, especially on Ninh Hai walking street. Actively coordinate with businesses to mobilize people to quickly clear the land, prepare the live stage and grandstand for the Opening Ceremony.
For the police sector, it is necessary to ensure absolute safety and security for tourists, especially international groups. Resolutely not to let social evils such as pickpocketing, theft, and fraud happen. Focus on handling violations of alcohol concentration, at the same time review signs, instructions and have plans to divide traffic and guide traffic to avoid congestion for tourists when they come to visit and travel.
Units such as Ninh Binh Newspaper, Ninh Binh Radio and Television continue to promote information and propaganda about the province's tourism potential, events and activities taking place during Tourism Week. Focus on exploiting the strengths of digital technology platforms Facebook and Tiktok to widely promote the event as well as introduce the image of the land and people of the ancient capital as friendly, harmonious and hospitable to many domestic and international friends.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 also requested the Health and Electricity sectors to review all conditions on food safety for tourists; ensure uninterrupted power supply during the opening ceremony and other important events.
In addition, a number of other relevant sectors, units and localities need to continue to perform well their assigned tasks, promote a sense of responsibility to ensure that Ninh Binh Tourism Week takes place safely and attractively, leaving a good impression on tourists and people.
