Ha Tinh City Trade Union currently has 107 grassroots trade unions with 5,078 union members. During the past term, the City Trade Union focused on innovating the content and methods of operation, completing and exceeding the targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 9th City Trade Union Congress, term 2017 - 2023.
Ha Tinh City Trade Union has performed well its role of representing and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers; actively advising the city Party Committee and government in implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies.

The city's trade union has done a good job of taking care of union members' lives; promoted propaganda and mobilization among union members to support the Social Fund to support, visit, give gifts, and build union shelters for union members in difficult circumstances, union members affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, and floods.
From 2017 to 2023, the City Labor Federation together with grassroots unions mobilized 4.7 billion VND to visit and give gifts to 7,500 union members; at the same time, proposed the Provincial Labor Federation to allocate 576 million VND from the Social Fund to support the renovation of 23 "Union Shelters"; and give gifts to 1,680 union members' children with serious illnesses, disabilities, Agent Orange victims, and orphans with an amount of more than 1 billion VND.
Besides, every year, Ha Tinh City Labor Federation mobilizes social resources to organize the programs "Happy Tet" and "Worker's Month".

The City Trade Union Congress elected 15 comrades to the Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 term. At the same time, a delegation of 16 comrades (15 official delegates, 1 alternate delegate) was elected to attend the 19th Ha Tinh Provincial Trade Union Congress.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Chuong was elected to hold the position of President of the Ha Tinh City Labor Federation for the 2023 - 2028 term.
