Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung was elected President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association for the third term (2025 - 2030).
On March 6, the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Women Entrepreneurs (Hawee) held its third term Congress (2025 - 2030), marking its 10-year journey of operation. Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union, attended the Congress.
Hawee was established on March 6, 2015, with the goal of gathering strength, solving specific needs as well as grasping and promoting potential opportunities for female entrepreneurs.
To date, Hawee has organized a variety of activities to help female entrepreneurs improve their capacity, expand their networks and overcome difficulties. This has not only contributed to the development of female businesses but also contributed to the recovery and socio-economic development of the city, while attracting more members.
During the past term, Hawee has successfully implemented many trade programs, achieved connections and raised the image, thinking and leadership style of the female entrepreneur team to a new level. From 2020 - 2025, Hawee has successfully organized more than 168 programs, attracting more than 13,500 participants; actively contributing to the development of the female entrepreneur community in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.

In addition to promoting the development of businesses, Hawee also actively shares with the community such as contributing medical equipment, supplies, and gifts to the frontline forces against the epidemic during the Covid-19 outbreak; accompanying the implementation of the "0 VND Mini Supermarket". In particular, after the pandemic, female members also became sponsors to care for children orphaned by Covid-19 through the "Godmother" Program.
The total budget and value of goods that Hawee has mobilized for community and charity programs in the past 5 years is more than 101 billion VND.
Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, highly appreciated the remarkable development of Hawee in the past term; affirming its position in the business community and society, both domestically and internationally. In addition to the growth of the Association, its members have also contributed to supporting the community and social security activities not only for the city but also for provinces/cities across the country.
The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association for the third term (2025-2030) consists of 45 members. Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung was re-elected as President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao Hien, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs, emphasized that over the past 5 years, Hawee has continuously developed and achieved many impressive achievements, affirming its pioneering role in the women entrepreneur movement nationwide. Hawee has become a support for female entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City, encouraging them to overcome difficulties, seek opportunities, develop their businesses and fulfill their social responsibilities.
The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs hopes that in the new term, Hawee will continue to promote its achievements, strengthen connections to support members in improving their business management capacity, applying new technologies to production and business, as well as building sustainable development strategies and promoting digital transformation and green transformation. At the same time, it will continue to perform well its role of connecting, sharing, and spreading the spirit of female leadership and social responsibility in the community of female entrepreneurs.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association for the third term (2025-2030) consisting of 45 members. Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung was re-elected as President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association also received Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and Certificates of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. The Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union also presented Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit to many individuals who are members of the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association.
On the first day of establishment, Hawee had 150 individual members who were female business owners and female business managers; the organization was a collective member of female business clubs in districts. By the end of 2024, the total number of members of the Association was 586 women.
