Gold price forecast for tomorrow, March 7, 2025: World gold prices continue to be supported as the US Dollar Index fell 1.2% to its lowest level since November, while domestic ring gold prices anchored at a historical peak of 93 million VND/tael.

At the end of the trading session on March 6, 2025, world gold prices and domestic gold prices tended to remain stable and decrease slightly.

Specifically, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) and DOJI Group both listed gold bar prices at VND90.7 - 92.7 million/tael (buy - sell), unchanged from the previous session. The difference between the two buying and selling directions is VND2 million.

At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the buying price of SJC gold is 91.1 million VND/tael and the selling price is 92.5 million VND/tael. Thus, compared to yesterday's session, the gold price decreased by 40,000 VND/tael for buying and 20,000 VND/tael for selling.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price of SJC gold at 90.7 million VND/tael (buy) and 92.7 million VND/tael (sell). This price decreased by 200,000 VND/tael for buying and remained unchanged for selling compared to yesterday.

SJC Phu Quy gold price is currently listed at 91.5-93 million VND/tael for both buying and selling, down 100,000 VND/tael for buying and unchanged for selling.

Not only SJC gold bars, gold rings of other brands also tend to decrease slightly.

Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) reduced the price of gold rings of type 1-5 to only 90.7-92.6 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 300,000 VND per tael in both buying and selling compared to this morning.

This afternoon, DOJI Gold and Gemstone Group listed the buying and selling price of 9999 gold rings at 91.4-93 million VND/tael, down 450,000 VND per tael for buying and down 300,000 VND per tael for selling compared to this afternoon.

Gold price forecast tomorrow 07/03/2025

Gold prices fell about 1% as investors booked profits after three days of gains, with markets now eyeing U.S. jobs data on Friday for clues on the Federal Reserve's interest rate path amid growing global trade concerns, Reuters reported.

Spot gold, down 0.9% to $2,893.63 an ounce as of 0958 GMT, has gained more than 10% since the start of the year. It hit a record high of $2,956.15 on Feb. 24.

US gold futures fell 0.9% to $2,900.7.

"Gold appears to be experiencing profit-taking as investors closely monitor developments on tariffs with prices trading at $2,900 ahead of the non-farm payrolls report," said Lukman Otunuga, senior research analyst at FXTM.

Market attention remains on the escalating global trade war after the United States imposed 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada on Tuesday along with new tariffs on Chinese goods.

Meanwhile, Asian shares rose as investors hoped that trade tensions could ease after US President Donald Trump granted some automakers a one-month tariff exemption.

Investors turn to gold as a safe haven asset in the face of geopolitical and economic uncertainties.

“Unless there is a new directional catalyst, the current bearish momentum could drag gold lower. A break below $2,900 could signal further downside to $2,880,” Otunuga said.

The market now awaits the nonfarm payrolls report, which is expected to show 160,000 jobs added in February, economists polled by Reuters said.

“We forecast a platinum shortfall of 500,000 ounces, or 6.4% of demand, by 2025, putting the metal in deficit for the third consecutive year. Our market deficit will continue to reduce above-ground inventories to below 3 million ounces and support prices to $1,100/oz this year,” UBS said in a note. Platinum prices fell 0.5% to $960.73/oz.
