At this year's HAWA exhibition, Canadian Wood Vietnam introduces unique furniture collections from companies specializing in manufacturing exported furniture, including Minh Tien, Phu Khang Phat, Chan Hung and Tuong An.
These are also businesses participating in the “Canadian Wood Trial Program ” . Through this program, Canada Wood Vietnam not only provides Canadian wood, but also provides technical and professional advice so that manufacturers can design and create the most complete products, while helping them expand their connections with potential partners.
Besides , 2025 marks the 16th time VIFA Expo takes place, leaving many good impressions on domestic and international visitors.
In its fifth participation in this exhibition, Canadian Wood Vietnam brings an impressive display space, along with authentic experiences of Canadian wood through furniture collections made from five typical types of wood: West Coast Hemlock, Douglas Fir, West Coast Red Cedar, Yellow Cypress, Spruce-Pine-Fir.
In addition, the color palette illustrates the finishes of wood samples in a variety of tones from warm to bright, giving visitors a more realistic view of the application, finish, and compatibility with many tones - one of the advantages of Canadian wood thanks to its white grain.
“With such a large turnout at both shows, we are excited to see a growing interest in sustainable timbers from British Columbia, Canada . We are focused on supporting manufacturers to select and incorporate Canadian timbers into high-quality furniture products.
These activities are an essential part of our development strategy in the Vietnamese market, and at the same time demonstrate our efforts to contribute to the growth of the Vietnamese wood industry , " said Mr. Tran Thanh Ven - Country Director of Canadian Wood Vietnam.
In 2024, according to the General Department of Customs (Ministry of Finance) , Vietnam's wood and furniture exports will bring in 16.25 billion USD, up 20% over the previous year. This achievement has contributed to strengthening Vietnam's position as one of the world's leading furniture manufacturing centers. In 2025, with positive prospects, the Vietnamese wood industry is striving to achieve an export turnover of 18 billion USD. To achieve this goal, manufacturers need to focus on sustainability, legal origin and transparency of wood types.
