An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBANK) in collaboration with the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communications, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has just officially launched the Tet An Binh 2025 program with the theme "Green love".
Within the framework of the Green An Binh - Green Vietnam project, this is the 5th year that ABBANK has accompanied the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication to actively respond to the "1 billion trees" program launched by the Prime Minister, the number of committed trees is equal to the previous 4 years combined. ABBANK wishes to join hands with the people of Pa Lau commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province to revive forests and fields after the damage of storm Yagi and in the long term, help prevent erosion, landslides and create livelihoods, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction for local people.
Kicking off the 16th An Binh Tet season, ABBANK officially launched a fundraising campaign to contribute 100,000 cinnamon trees, determined to achieve the goal of equaling the total number of trees from the previous 4 years combined.
ABBANK commits to sponsoring 01 young cinnamon tree to the "Green An Binh - Green Vietnam" tree planting fund for each new payment, savings and credit card account opened by a customer at ABBANK. At the same time, the bank also commits to sponsoring 01 cinnamon tree for the people of Pa Lau commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province. The fundraising campaign will last from now until March 2025 or until the target number of 100,000 trees is reached.
Mr. Pham Duy Hieu - General Director of ABBANK shared: "On the 16-year journey of implementing the Tet An Binh project, ABBANK is extremely proud that this year's program continues to receive the support of not only nearly 4,000 employees but also customers and the community, contributing to the project's further expansion, towards more sustainable support plans for people, creating livelihoods, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, developing the economy, and raising awareness of environmental protection for people in localities across the country".
At the program launching ceremony held in Pa Lau commune, the Organizing Committee of Tet An Binh 2025 also presented 50 Tet gifts including cash and necessities to 50 disadvantaged households in the locality.
