According to the report of the Ninh Binh Provincial Center for Disease Control, from the beginning of 2023 to the end of November 6, 2023, the whole Ninh Binh province recorded 455 cases (of which 135 were from the province and 320 were imported). Notably, there were 52 patients with warning signs, 7 patients with severe dengue fever had to be transferred to the Central Hospital for treatment, 2 cases died on November 1 and 4.

The entire Ninh Binh province has had 93 outbreaks, of which 76 have ended and 17 are active. Currently, the outbreak has lasted the longest and has the most cases in village 5, Dong Son commune (Tam Diep city), with 18 new cases after 2 outbreaks (7 cases in the first outbreak and 11 cases in the second outbreak).
During 2 days (November 8-9), the Inspection Team of the Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control of Ninh Binh province organized 2 inspection teams in Ninh Binh city, Tam Diep and Yen Mo and Kim Son districts.
At the inspection sites, the inspection teams are responsible for inspecting and supervising the current dengue fever prevention work. They focus on monitoring, investigating and handling outbreaks; and communicating about dengue fever prevention at the Medical Centers and Health Stations in the districts and cities of Kim Son, Yen Mo, Tam Diep and Ninh Binh City.
The inspection teams have recommended and requested local authorities, organizations and unions to coordinate with the health sector to step up propaganda work on dengue fever prevention to the people.
At outbreak areas, spray disinfectant on a large scale, organize an urgent campaign to kill mosquito larvae; mobilize the whole society to participate in general cleaning, clear bushes, and clean water containers. At the same time, strengthen the monitoring of outbreaks and cases in the community, promptly isolate and handle them, and prevent them from spreading widely...
