Multiply awareness and responsibility
Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh (born in 1995), Deputy Head of Group 12, Thuy Phuong Ward, Huong Thuy Town, is not only known as a young female cadre who has risen to become a good businesswoman with a farm model specializing in raising quail and growing fruit trees with high economic efficiency, but she is also an exemplary member, actively participating in contributing to the women's movement and local activities. After only a short time participating in activities, despite her young age, Ms. Oanh was elected by the women's association members as Deputy Head of the Women's Association.
As a deputy head of the association, she has always been an exemplary leader in the work of the association and the women's movement; implementing the association's emulation movement in conjunction with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, and the association's key campaigns and tasks.
Ms. Oanh also plays a good role in connecting and supporting female members to access preferential loans from credit institutions, and encourages members to participate in technical transfer training courses to boldly seek economic development models.
In 2022, Ms. Oanh was honored to join the Party. “At first, I just thought of joining the association for the sake of having a group and a movement, but the more I joined, the more I became “addicted”, because I saw that the women's movement was becoming more and more dynamic, helping me a lot, especially in sharing experiences in doing business, raising children, and building a happy family. When I was honored to join the Party, I felt that I needed to try harder, be more active in the association's work, especially promoting the youth to build models and movements for the association to develop more and more”, Ms. Oanh confided.
Ms. Le Thi Van Trinh, born in 1984, Head of Women's Association Group 5, Thuy Luong Ward, Huong Thuy Town, was honored to participate in the Party sympathy course and will be introduced to join the Party next month.
As the core member of the movement and activities of the branch, she always cares about the lives of the members. For female members who encounter sudden difficulties, Ms. Trinh always mobilizes female members in the branch to join hands to support. Ms. Trinh is also a bridge, creating an environment to gather female members through physical activities, sports, and club activities. That is also a way to create a useful playground for members to participate in after hard working hours.
“Standing in the Party ranks has always been my dream. When I become a Party member, I will definitely continue to strive and contribute to building the local women's movement to grow, worthy of the trust that all levels and female members have for me,” Ms. Trinh shared.
Strong from the foundation
As the head of the association, Ms. Phung Thi Hoang Trang, Head of Group 11, Thuan Loc Ward, Hue City, regularly cares about, learns about, and listens to the thoughts and aspirations of women, thereby providing timely support and assistance to women and children in difficult circumstances; at the same time, she encourages women to join the association, especially self-employed women and those temporarily residing in the neighborhood.
Thanks to her exemplary role, leading the movement, mobilizing members and women to actively participate in implementing activities launched by the Women's Union at higher levels, in 2022, Ms. Trang was considered for Party admission.
From 2022 to present, women's associations at all levels in the province have introduced and trained 235 outstanding members to the Party, 104 members have officially joined the Party, of which more than 20 branch presidents and deputy branch presidents have been admitted to the Party. This is not a really large number, but it is an effort in building the movement and finding core members at the grassroots level.
Ms. Hoang Phuong Hien, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, said: Not only are they the ones who directly propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws as well as the activities of the union at all levels to members and people; the branch presidents and vice presidents are also the ones who have many initiatives and good ways of doing things that bring practical rights and benefits to female union members as well as their families. Those actions contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of the locality. They are also an important factor in the work of building the union.
In a recent working session with the Provincial Women's Union, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho emphasized that the work of building the Union is the most important issue; finding and creating resources, and paying attention to developing the Party for female members are necessary requirements to build the women's movement.
