Building socialist people - seen from the reality of Da Nang city

On the morning of February 28, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the City Party Committee coordinated with the City Political School to organize a seminar on "Building a socialist model, focusing on building socialist people - viewed from the reality of Da Nang city". Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the City Party Agencies Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the City Party Committee Tran Thang Loi, and Principal of the City Political School Nguyen Dinh Thuan co-chaired the seminar. Also attending the seminar were leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and experts and scientists.

The seminar aims to discuss and clarify theoretical and practical issues on building a socialist social model and socialist people in Da Nang city. From there, it will serve as a basis for synthesizing and supplementing the documents of the 23rd Congress of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and the Central Report. At the seminar, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying 3 main groups of contents, including: general theoretical issues on the socialist social model, focusing on building socialist people from the practical experience of Da Nang city; achievements in Party building and the political system in Da Nang city in the pioneering role in innovation and development, associated with the implementation of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city. At the same time, evaluate the practice and results of building Da Nang city in various fields, aiming to turn the city into one of the major socio-economic centers of the country and Southeast Asia; a livable city, with people having a standard of living among the leading localities in the country with a good quality of life, friendliness, happiness and creativity. Thereby, propose to build a model of socialist society, focusing on building socialist people in theory and practice of Da Nang city./.
