The group of friends used helmets to hit the girl on the head, even stripped her naked and filmed the clip. The police are currently investigating the incident.
This morning (November 1), the leader of the People's Committee of Cho Moi district (An Giang province) said that the district police and the Department of Education and Training are coordinating to clarify and strictly handle the case of a young girl being beaten and stripped by a group of friends.
“According to initial information, the victim and the group in the clip have not attended school. Only one student was wearing a uniform, we are verifying which school they attend,” the district leader informed.
Previously, a 4-minute clip appeared on social media recording a young girl being beaten by a group of friends in an empty lot.
The clip shows the victim sitting on the ground, a group of 5-7 friends standing around cheering and swearing. One of them grabbed her hair, used a helmet and a wooden stick to hit her on the head. "Hit her harder," a girl in the clip said.
The incident did not stop there, the three girls pushed the victim to the ground, then took off her pants. As soon as she was freed from their control, the victim stood up and the group continued to tear her shirt and strip her of all her clothes.
Even though there were many men around, no one stopped them, and even used their phones to record it.
After that, the clip of the group beating and stripping the girl was spread on Facebook.
According to verification by VietNamNet reporters, the incident occurred in My Hoi hamlet, My Hoi Dong commune, Cho Moi district. Social media accounts that posted the information have also removed the posts.
