On the morning of March 21, Phu Tho Provincial Library coordinated with Van Phu Primary School (Van Phu Ward - Viet Tri City) to organize the STEM Festival with the theme "Book and Reading Culture Day - Happy - Healthy - Creative Children" . This program is part of a series of activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day on April 21 and World Book and Copyright Day on April 23.
The activity took place in a lively and exciting atmosphere with the participation of more than 1,000 students and all staff and teachers of the school. Participating in the activity, the students experienced a friendly reading space with 1,200 books brought by Phu Tho Provincial Library, including many attractive topics such as: Discovery Science, reference, life skills, historical figures, cultural celebrities, children's comics.
In addition, the program also gathered more than 10 booths displaying handicrafts, fine arts, STEM products or attractive food booths prepared by parents and teachers in the school.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Pham Thi Phuong Thuy - Deputy Director of Phu Tho Provincial Library affirmed: "Reading has become an indispensable need for everyone in life. Regardless of the era, people consider learning and reading as one of the methods to perfect their personality, to progress in their personal life and to contribute to the overall development of society".
The STEM Festival with the theme "Book and Reading Culture Day - Happy - Healthy - Creative Children" 2025 organized by Phu Tho Provincial Library in collaboration with Van Phu Primary School is a very meaningful activity in response to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025. Through the activities in the program, children are nurtured with more love for books, develop their intelligence, spirit, improve their knowledge to equip themselves with necessary skills, thereby continuing the journey of nurturing, building and spreading reading culture in the community.
