A fire broke out in the middle of the night at a multi-story house combined with a business in Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City. Luckily, 7 people in the house escaped safely.
On March 26, authorities were still investigating and clarifying the fire at a 5-story house in Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The fire caused black smoke to cover the entire area.
Previously, at 11:30 p.m. on March 25, people discovered a fire in a 5-story house combined with a business on Nguyen Thai Binh Street, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, so they shouted.
At the time of the fire, there were many people in the house. When the fire was discovered, the people inside panicked and ran to the roof to call for help, then tried to climb over to a neighbor's house to escape.
Some witnesses said that in just a few minutes, the fire flared up quickly, black smoke covering all floors of the house.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police mobilized the District 11 team and the Tan Binh District team, including 6 vehicles and 34 officers and soldiers, to the scene and quickly deployed fire fighting and rescue plans.
By 0:10 a.m. on March 26, the fire was completely extinguished.
Authorities used a ladder truck to rescue fire victims.
It is known that the police brought a victim on the 4th floor down the stairs to safety, and at the same time, guided 6 other people to escape.
Initially, the fire burned about 35/200m2 of the house area along with some other items.
