Candidates can register for multiple wishes but can only stick with one wish. From July 18 to 30, candidates have time to thoroughly research the majors and training programs at universities.

"Parents should not direct their children to study trendy majors but should listen to their interests. When children are passionate about their profession, learning will be effective and sustainable," explained Master Nguyen.

Experts and university representatives answer questions sent by readers to the program on the morning of July 18.

MSc. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung, Deputy Director of the Center for Admissions and Corporate Relations, University of Finance and Marketing, emphasized that this is the time for candidates to reconsider whether early admission is suitable and in line with their interests. If they are sure, candidates can rest assured to register for the major they have early admission in their first choice.

For candidates who are admitted based on their high school graduation exam scores, during this time they should take notes and list information about their majors, training programs and benchmark scores for 2022 and 2023 as a basis for selection.

The registration portal does not limit the number of wishes, most candidates register for 4-6 wishes. Wish 1 will have a predicted standard score higher than the exam score by 0.25 - 0.5 points; wish 2 has a predicted standard score equal to the exam score; wish 3 has a predicted standard score lower than the exam score.

Parents need to listen and accompany their children in choosing suitable aspirations.

According to MSc. Nguyen Tran Ngoc Phuong, Director of the Marketing and Brand Development Center - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), to make the right choice, parents and candidates need to pay attention to the enrollment plan of each school.

2024 is the year of the explosion of candidates using early admission methods. The benchmark scores for these methods increased slightly by 0.5-1 points at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in traditional majors, while "hot" majors also increased slightly.
