The two countries' National Assemblies signed a Cooperation Agreement in 2017. The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the two sides review and continue to effectively implement the signed cooperation contents; further deepen parliamentary relations, actively exchange delegations at all levels and Friendship Parliamentarians' Groups; further strengthen the exchange of good experiences and valuable lessons of the two countries' National Assemblies in all fields of activity, especially in legislation, and support each other in multilateral forums...
The National Assembly Chairman appreciated Secretary General Najib El Khadi and members of the delegation attending the plenary session of the Vietnamese National Assembly at its 7th session and will hold talks with Secretary General of the Vietnamese National Assembly Bui Van Cuong.
The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the two sides share experiences in organizing the work and operations of the support apparatus of the two countries' legislative bodies to promote parliamentary cooperation between the two countries; at the same time, he hoped that, in his capacity as Chairman of ASGP, Secretary General Najib El Khadi would promote exchanges and sharing of operational experiences of parliaments of other countries with Vietnam.

During the exchange, the National Assembly Chairman sincerely thanked the Moroccan people for their wholehearted support and assistance to Vietnam during the years of fighting for national liberation and reunification.
The National Assembly Chairman congratulated Morocco on its socio-economic development achievements, making it the fifth most developed economy in Africa and second in North Africa.
The Moroccan football team is one of the strongest teams in North Africa. Although he has not visited Morocco, the National Assembly Chairman said that he always has good feelings and impressions about the country and people of Morocco.
The Secretary General of the Moroccan House of Representatives respectfully thanked National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man for taking the time to receive him.

On this occasion, he warmly congratulated the National Assembly Chairman on his new position; at the same time, he expressed his great joy to visit and work in Vietnam in his capacity as Secretary General of the Moroccan House of Representatives and Chairman of the ASGP. This is an opportunity for the two sides to discuss measures to further strengthen the relationship between the advisory and service agencies of the two countries' National Assemblies, thereby actively contributing to the cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries both bilaterally and multilaterally.
Secretary General Najib El Khadi said he had just attended the plenary session of the Vietnamese National Assembly; congratulated the achievements of the Vietnamese National Assembly in recent times in innovation, improving the quality and efficiency of its operations; expressed his impression of the innovations in applying technology, digitization, document storage... of the Vietnamese National Assembly, saying that these are typical examples that need to be replicated.
Emphasizing the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Morocco and Vietnam, Secretary General Najib El Khadi emotionally said that Vietnam is always in the hearts of the Moroccan people.
In the current national development process, the two countries share many common points, especially the fact that the people of both countries are very hard-working, diligent, always passionate about work and have the will to rise up. The Secretary General of the Moroccan House of Representatives shared that Moroccan leaders attach great importance to strengthening and promoting South-South cooperation.

Expressing his admiration for Vietnam's important achievements in the country's construction and development today, Secretary General Najib El Khadi said that Morocco always considers Vietnam's achievements as its own; the two countries have strengths that can enhance cooperation, thereby further tightening bilateral relations.
Appreciating Secretary General Najib El Khadi's sincere feelings for the country and people of Vietnam, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that parliamentary cooperation is one of the effective channels in Vietnam-Morocco relations.
The two countries' parliaments have maintained delegation exchanges, high-level contacts, and close cooperation and support for each other at multilateral inter-parliamentary forums in the world and the region.
At the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man thanked the President of the Senate and the President of the House of Representatives for their congratulations on the occasion of his election as President of the Vietnamese National Assembly; and respectfully invited the President of the Senate and the President of the House of Representatives of Morocco to soon pay an official visit to Vietnam.
Secretary General of the Moroccan House of Representatives Najib El Khadi respectfully conveyed to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man the invitation to an early official visit to Morocco from the President of the Senate and the President of the Moroccan House of Representatives.
