On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Ho Chi Minh City organized a program to vote for 50 outstanding events and activities of Ho Chi Minh City (1975 - 2025).

Events and activities are introduced based on the synthesis and selection from nominations by departments, branches, localities, press agencies and the Advisory Council (including experts, veteran revolutionaries of the City, scholars, and researchers on the development history of the City).
