University of Natural Sciences announces priority admission scores

On the afternoon of July 1, the University of Natural Sciences announced the benchmark scores for the Direct Admission Priority and Priority Admission methods according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Computer Science (advanced program) continues to be the program with the highest standard score in the school with an absolute score of 10.

The top 3 majors/groups of majors with higher benchmark scores compared to 2023 are: Electronics and telecommunications engineering, microchip design; physics, electronic physics and information technology, semiconductor technology; mathematics, mathematics and information technology, applied mathematics.

The University of Natural Sciences said that in 2024, the school will enroll a total of 4,010 students (an increase of 10% compared to last year) and maintain 6 stable admission methods.

In which, the enrollment quota of the direct priority admission method (PT2A) is from 1%-5% of the total quota by major/group of majors and the enrollment quota of the priority admission method (PT2B) is maximum 20% of the total quota by major/group of majors. The total number of candidates registering for admission of these two methods is 2,686 candidates with 6,197 wishes.

The University of Natural Sciences notes that the list of qualified candidates announced by the school does not take into account the requirement of having graduated from high school. The school will check this requirement when receiving the candidates' admission documents.

From 9:00 a.m. on July 2, candidates can look up the list of qualified candidates at the website: https://tsdh.hcmus.edu.vn/ketqua.

From July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, eligible candidates must register, adjust, and supplement their admission wishes for majors/groups of majors or training programs online on the System or on the National Public Service Portal. Each candidate will only be admitted to the highest wish among the registered wishes.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 19, the school will announce the official admission results for candidates entering university in 2024.

After the official announcement of admission results, successful candidates are required to confirm their admission online (phase 1) on the system before 5:00 p.m. on August 27.

From August 22 to August 27, the school will announce the detailed admission schedule to each candidate during this time. The school encourages all successful candidates who wish to study at the school to confirm their admission online on the system before August 27 to facilitate the admission procedures.
