(Dan Tri) - Candidates taking the entrance exam to grade 10 of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities will have to take 4 entrance exams.
The High School for Social Sciences and Humanities has just announced its 10th grade enrollment plan with many changes.
Accordingly, instead of taking only one exam like in 2024, students must take four entrance exams including math, literature, English and specialized subjects.
Math and English are multiple choice tests, lasting 90 and 60 minutes respectively. The scores of these two subjects are not counted towards the admission score, but candidates must achieve a minimum of 4 points per subject to be eligible for admission.
For specialized subjects, candidates need to achieve a minimum of 6 points. The admission score is the general literature score and the specialized subject score multiplied by a factor of two.
The High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities plans to hold the 10th grade entrance exam on May 24-25.
The school opens the online registration portal from April 14 to May 6.
The school has not announced its enrollment target for this year. Last year, the school recruited 140 students, of which 70 were for literature majors, and the remaining 70 were divided equally between history and geography majors.
