On the morning of August 25, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, inspected combat readiness at the Military Command of Chuong My District (Hanoi Capital Command) and the 201st Tank Brigade (Armored Corps).
Praising the results achieved by the units in the past time, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh requested the Military Command of Chuong My district and the 201st Tank Brigade to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directives, resolutions and orders of the superiors, especially in training and combat readiness; strengthen discipline management, innovate methods of grasping and managing ideology, promptly resolve difficulties and problems for the troops; and carefully prepare for combat readiness work during the National Day holiday on September 2.

Units must improve their forecasting capacity and situation handling ability; organize practice of combat readiness plans, handle all situations methodically, scientifically, accurately and creatively; do a good job of coordination, ensure adequate logistics and techniques for the task; proactively coordinate closely with local Party committees, authorities, relevant agencies and units to grasp the local situation, avoid being passive or surprised; ensure combat readiness means and forces and carry out rescue tasks...
The Deputy Chief of the General Staff also requested that units organize training contents that ensure compliance with regulations, following the motto "basic, practical, solid", focusing on synchronous and in-depth training; closely combining training with political education; training close to tasks, objects, areas, combat environments and reality, focusing on practice; strengthening inspection and evaluation of actual training results...
