U22 Vietnam entered the first match of the CFA Team China 2025 tournament against U22 Korea. As expected, the white-shirted players encountered many difficulties in the early part of the first half. U22 Korea has a tall physique, taking advantage in one-on-one disputes. However, Van Truong and his teammates played calmly.
In the first 15 minutes, U22 Korea had 2 dangerous opportunities but were both excellently blocked by Cao Van Binh. Meanwhile, U22 Vietnam proved that they are not easy to defeat. Overall, U22 Korea did not have much difficulty winning in one-on-one battles. However, the reasonable formation distance helped coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his team maintain their achievements. But U22 Korea did not want to lose and rushed to attack.
Under great pressure from their opponents, U22 Vietnam could not stand firm until the final whistle. U22 Korea got an equalizer in extra time by Jeong Jae-sang.
