With achievements in the fight against drug crimes, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Hoang Hoa District Police and Hoang Dong Commune Police along with 8 individuals were awarded certificates of merit and prizes by the Chairman of Hoang Hoa District People's Committee.
In recent times, Hoang Hoa District Police have focused on organizing and implementing synchronously and effectively many measures and solutions for professional work, while actively and proactively advising Party committees and authorities at all levels to strengthen leadership, direction, and mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and the entire population to participate in preventing, combating, and denouncing crimes and law violations, so the situation of crime and drug abuse in the district is no longer complicated and prominent, especially, long-standing drug-related hotspots and hotspots have been thoroughly fought and eliminated.
Since the end of May 2022, implementing the plan of the Provincial Police Director to launch a peak period to fight against drug crimes in the province, Hoang Hoa District Police have deployed forces and applied many professional measures to focus on the fight, thereby detecting and arresting 27 cases and 51 subjects. In the first 6 months of 2023, 14 cases and 26 subjects were detected and arrested, 34 subjects were sent to compulsory drug rehabilitation, and 45 drug addicts were arrested and prosecuted for other crimes.
In particular, after a period of investigation, verification and case preparation, from May 11 to 14, Hoang Hoa District Police continuously fought and eliminated 6 complicated drug-related points, arrested 8 subjects illegally buying, selling and storing drugs, seized 11 packages of heroin, 16 bags of ketamine, 25 ecstasy pills and many other related exhibits...
To promptly commend the efforts of Hoang Hoa District Police in general and the drug crime investigation and prevention task force, at the conference to listen to the report on drug crimes, the Chairman of Hoang Hoa District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit and bonuses to 2 groups (Hoang Hoa District Police Drug Crime Investigation and Prevention Police Team and Hoang Dong Commune Police) and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in the fight against drug crimes.
