Ritual of worship at the pole-raising ceremony in the grounds of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Site.
Raising the Tet pole is a beautiful traditional feature in the cultural life of Vietnamese people, signaling the beginning of a new year and driving away bad things, praying for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, growth and development of all things, and prosperity and happiness for the people. Combined with the pole raising ceremony, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center organizes the release of carp in the inner city with the wish for the best things to come to the people and the land that was once the capital of the Ho Dynasty.
On this occasion, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center in collaboration with Tay Do Secondary School organized the Closing Ceremony and Award Ceremony of the "Brilliant Ancient Capital" Contest, aiming to contribute to promoting activities towards the origin and the model of "Schools associated with Cultural Heritage", creating a correlation between Heritage and schools. At the same time, helping students actively explore and learn about Heritage through interactive and experiential activities. Thereby, promoting and educating the traditions and history of the nation, fostering knowledge of local history, promoting the positivity, dynamism and creativity of school youth through interesting learning and experiential activities, contributing to perfecting necessary skills in life.
After 3 months of launching the contest, the Center has received entries from students of all grades of Tay Do Secondary School. "Brilliant Ancient Capital" is a contest that has attracted a lot of attention, support and enthusiastic participation from students of the school. The entries are colorful images, videos and clips of students expressing many creative ideas as well as love for a World Heritage of the homeland and the awareness and responsibility of the generation of students towards preserving and protecting the World Heritage that their ancestors left behind. Among them are some excellent videos, with investment, selection of beautiful materials and images, and elaborate preparation showing the students' love and desire to learn about the heritage of their homeland.
At the award ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 4 Encouragement Prizes to students with creative and unique images, videos, and clips.
