At the discussion, members of the Provincial Women's Intellectuals Club reviewed the historical tradition of International Women's Day March 8 and the heroic echoes of the Hai Ba Trung uprising.

Inheriting the nation's fine traditions, in recent years, the intellectual community in general and the female intellectual community of Thanh Hoa province in particular have increasingly affirmed their important role in social life. Women have participated in the leadership of elected agencies and socio-political organizations: At the provincial level, there are 7 women/65 comrades who are members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee (10.8%); at the district level, there are 174 women/887 comrades who are members of the District Party Executive Committee (19.62%); at the commune level, there are 1,702 women/7,056 comrades who are members of the Commune Party Executive Committee (24.12%). Female deputies of the XV National Assembly reached 21.43%; female deputies of the Provincial People's Council reached 20%; female deputies of the District People's Council reached 28.87%; female deputies of the Grassroots People's Council reached 27.29%. Many women have high academic degrees and are getting younger, being a high-quality human resource for the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration.

On October 10, 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union established the Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Intellectual Club with 28 members working in various fields and social activities in departments, branches, unions, universities, colleges, and hospitals in the province.

After nearly 5 months of operation, the Provincial Women Intellectuals Club has built and developed 27 new members, bringing the total number to 55. The Club has played a good role as a bridge between the Association and agencies and units; actively participated in social security, humanitarian and charitable activities aimed at women and children in the province.
