(BLC) - On August 9, at Lai Chau Community College, comrades: Be Thi Bang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Doan Dinh Phuong - Vice Principal of the school; leaders of the Youth Union - School Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Standing Committee of the School Youth Union visited, encouraged and presented gifts to Lo A Lai (Mang ethnic group, Trung Chai commune, Nam Nhun district) - "Green Heart" in the Program "Wings for the future for children in special circumstances in Lai Chau province" for the period 2020 - 2030 (also known as the Wings for the future Program) on the occasion of the new school year.
Leaders of the Provincial Youth Union, Lai Chau Community College, along with the professional board and the school's union presented gifts to Lo A Lai.
Lo A Lai's situation is very special when his father died early, his mother remarried, and the three Lai brothers lived with their grandparents, their lives were difficult. In response to the call of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, on June 13, 2023, Nam Cuoi 1 Hydropower Joint Stock Company (headquartered in Lai Chau city) signed a contract with the Provincial Youth Union to adopt two "Green Hearts", Lo A Lai and Lo Me Linh (Lai's younger sister).
Accordingly, within 3 years from the date of adoption, Nam Cuoi 1 Hydropower Joint Stock Company will support the upbringing of 2 children with 1 million VND/child/month; help to renovate the house, buy living items. Along with that, Lai Chau College Youth Union will support and guide Lo A Lai to complete the registration procedures for studying at the Industrial Electricity Intermediate Faculty. Nam Cuoi 1 Hydropower Joint Stock Company will also arrange a job for Lai after graduation.
Representatives of Nam Cuoi 1 Hydropower Joint Stock Company and Lai Chau Provincial Youth Union presented the minutes of agreement to adopt 2 "Green Hearts".
At the dormitory of Lai Chau College of Community Studies, the leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and Lai Chau College of Community Studies kindly asked about Lai's health, living and studying in the new environment. At the same time, they encouraged Lai to try to overcome difficulties, confidently integrate with friends, and try to study well to move towards a brighter future.
