Starting from 2025, the 11th of January every year will become the opening day of the King Le Thai To Temple. Accordingly, the King Le Thai To Temple Festival in 2025, chaired by the People's Committee of Lai Chau province, will take place for 3 days (from February 7-9, 2025, i.e. January 10-12, At Ty year) in the center of Nam Nhun district, Lai Chau province with a series of unique and attractive cultural, sports and tourism activities that promise to bring delegates, people and visitors impressive experiences and are divided into two parts: the ceremony and the festival.

Review of some activities taking place at the King Le Thai To Temple Festival in 2025

This year, the ceremonial activities took place on the morning of January 11th of the lunar calendar at the national relic site of King Le Thai To in Nam Nhun district, including main activities such as: the palanquin procession from the old location of the relic to the Temple of King Le Thai To; the sacrificial ceremony and thanksgiving ceremony at the main yard of the Temple of King Le Thai To with the participation of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; departments, branches, sectors of the province and districts, cities; districts twinned with Nam Nhun district (Quynh Nhai, Son La province; Muong Lay town, Muong Nhe, Tua Chua, Nam Po, Dien Bien province; Chuong My, Hanoi city; Cam Khe, Phu Tho province), people and tourists from all over.

Along with the ceremony, the festival includes many exciting activities such as: Art program to welcome King Le Thai To Temple and solidarity round; 7-a-side women's football tournament; Swallow-tail boat racing, raft racing; Food festival; Competition of traditional sports, ethnic sports; Exhibition space for beautiful photos of Lai Chau tourism, display and introduction of OCOP products and some typical agricultural products of the province and display space, introduction of products on preserving the culture of local ethnic groups...
