On the morning of October 11, in Hanoi, in the atmosphere of celebrating the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day, the 2024 National Entrepreneur and Business Song Festival Award Ceremony took place, organized by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
Speaking at the opening of the Program, Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice President of VCCI, said that the 7th National Congress of VCCI has determined the vision in the new development stage of the country as "Strong Enterprises - Prosperous Nation".
The Congress approved 6 groups of key tasks and solutions and especially 3 strategic breakthroughs of VCCI, in which the task of building business ethics and business culture is identified as the foundation for sustainable development of the Vietnamese business community.

In recent times, VCCI has organized and implemented many related activities, notably: announcing and launching the implementation of 6 Codes of Ethics for Vietnamese Businessmen; organizing the contest "Vietnamese Business Spirit" to select and announce traditional songs of the Vietnamese business community and 23 songs about businessmen (in 2023); coordinating with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to organize national scientific seminars on business culture and ethics of Vietnamese businessmen; implementing the Project "Promoting the building of Vietnamese business culture to contribute to the goal of making Vietnam a developed country by 2045".
“The 2024 National Entrepreneur and Business Song Festival is organized by VCCI to contribute to implementing the policy set forth by the Party and State on building a team of entrepreneurs with national spirit, business culture and social responsibility.
Through a long history of development, the vision and mission of the enterprise have been affirmed, arousing pride, creating motivation to promote creativity in labor and production, contributing to spreading good values and communicating about the Vietnamese business community with courage, intelligence, ethics and knowledge to integrate globally," Mr. Phong emphasized.
According to Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, the program is also to implement Conclusion No. 84-KL/TW dated June 21, 2024 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW of the 10th Politburo on "continuing to build and develop literature and arts in the new period", including the content of "developing cultural industries". Through the linkage program, promote the development of sustainable, civilized, integrated and world-class enterprises and business associations.
As of September 15, 2024, the Organizing Committee received registrations from 42 units with a total of 107 entries. Of which, 60% of the participating units are state-owned enterprises, 30% of the participating units are private enterprises, and 10% of the participating units are from business associations and business clubs.
The participating performances were all carefully and meticulously prepared, and after the evaluation process, the Jury selected performances with high artistic quality, meaningful content, reflecting the corporate culture of the unit. They are all enterprises with a long history, a development process, traditional songs about the unit, and many contributions to society.

As a result, the A prize (worth 50 million VND) was awarded to the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, for a performance by a group called Vietcombank - Bright Future.
Two B prizes (each worth 15 million VND) were awarded to the group singing performance: Pride of Vietnamese Textile and Garment from the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association and the male solo performance by businessman Nguyen Quach Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thanh Nam GROUP with the song Pride of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs.
Three C prizes (each worth 10 million VND) went to Vietnam Rubber Industry Group with the performance: Vietnam Rubber; Viet A Commercial Joint Stock Bank with the choir performance VIETABANK Song and the choir performance Proud of Vietnamese female entrepreneurs of the Long Bien District Business Club, Hanoi (under the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises).
The program awarded the most favorite performance prize (worth 10 million VND) to the Vietcombank choir performance "Bright Future" by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (VCB).

Finally, three Impressive Performance Awards (each worth 10 million VND) were presented to the performances: VARISME Bridge of Trust by the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in Rural Sectors; Pride of Nam Dinh Entrepreneurs by the Nam Dinh Entrepreneurs Club in Ho Chi Minh City (under the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association) and Pride of Nam Sung Aluminum by Nam Sung Aluminum Company Limited.
It is expected that the 2025 National Entrepreneur and Business Song Festival will begin accepting entries in the second quarter of 2025, and award prizes on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day on October 13, 2025. The estimated cost of the award is nearly 300 million VND.
