The Press Award on the Workers' Movement and Trade Union Activities of Thanh Hoa Province, jointly organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association, is a practical activity in the series of activities to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and to welcome the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress.

This is the first time the Award has been held to encourage and motivate journalists and non-professional writers who are union officials, union members, and employees to have good articles and works on the topic of workers' movements and union activities in Thanh Hoa province.
The press award was launched in March, attracting the attention of many journalists, reporters, collaborators and trade unions at all levels with 105 entries, in 3 categories: Print, TV and online newspapers by more than 90 authors.

According to Mr. Pham Van Bau - Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association, many entries have profound content and diverse forms of expression. Among them, many journalistic works have new forms of expression, reflecting the diversity of trade union activities, the workers' movement as well as the lives of workers.
In particular, the issue of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, housing for workers, labor recruitment; protecting workers' rights in implementing insurance and labor safety regimes.
The press awards for typical examples of the labor movement and trade union activities in Thanh Hoa province were concluded with 33 awards. Of which, there were 15 consolation awards; 9 third prizes; 6 second prizes and 3 third prizes.
