President Trump, who also revoked former President Joe Biden's security clearance, defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election and Harris in last year's election.
"I have determined that it is no longer in the national interest for the following individuals to have access to classified information," Trump said in a statement released late Friday, which also included former Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

While the recall may not have an immediate impact, it is another sign of the growing political divide in Washington. The announcement came hours after Mr. Trump headed to his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, for the weekend.
The US president also targeted former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney, a fierce critic of Mr Trump, former National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Fiona Hill, a Russia expert who served on his National Security Council during his first term.
Trump previously revoked Biden's security clearance, as well as denying his predecessor access to intelligence information. In 2021, Biden also revoked Trump's security clearance.
