Trump even claimed that FEMA told Hurricane Helene victims that each person would only receive $750 . President Biden called the above baseless claims a recipe for "trouble". He also dismissed the false information spread by the former president. "These stories are ridiculous and completely false," President Biden said at a press conference on October 9.
