Lieutenant Colonel Pham Dinh Thang, Head of the Traffic Police Team, Tien Hai District Police, said: The district has 2 national highways, 5 provincial roads with a length of 49.3 km and 13 district roads with a length of 80.1 km. To ensure traffic safety in the area, the District Police have deployed specialized plans such as: drivers on the road violating alcohol concentration; patrolling, controlling and handling violations according to the topic of transporting overloaded and oversized goods, and many sudden plans to patrol, control and strictly handle violations... Organizing the signing of commitments for households doing business and trading in the localities to strictly comply with regulations on public order, not to encroach on the roadway and sidewalks as places to gather and do business. Mobilize maximum forces, use synchronous professional measures, means, technical equipment, closely coordinate between forces to organize patrols and control the area, focusing on key routes and areas. The district police also coordinate with functional agencies to strengthen inspection and review of the traffic sign system, have timely supplementary plans; develop plans and implement handling of black spots, potential traffic accident risk points, and locations of traffic safety loss. Strengthen measures to ensure traffic safety on routes under construction and just put into use. Especially on holidays and weekends, the traffic police force of the district police coordinate with the police of Nam Phu and Dong Minh communes to patrol and control the route leading to the Con Vanh and Dong Chau eco-tourism areas and the routes at entertainment areas in the district.

Along with implementing and gradually improving the effectiveness of patrolling and controlling to ensure traffic safety and order, the traffic police force of the District Police also resolutely strictly handles violations of traffic safety and order, focusing on handling violations of alcohol concentration and errors that are direct causes of traffic accidents. In the first 4 months of 2023, the Traffic Police Team of the District Police handled 239 violations, imposed fines of VND 1,336 million, detained 155 vehicles and revoked the driving licenses of 107 cases...
