The artillery training at Bach Dang Wharf has attracted the attention of city residents and foreign tourists. Many families and young people took the opportunity to come here to watch the training and record the most beautiful moments at the artillery site.
The artillery site at Bach Dang wharf consists of 15 cannons placed on a red carpet about 90m long, surrounded by a fence with 250 columns to ensure equipment maintenance.
People can come and watch the artillery team practice both days of the week. At Bach Dang Wharf, there is a space for people to visit, watch the practice and take photos.
As planned, the ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day will take place at 6:30 a.m. on April 30, 2025, on Le Duan Street (District 1) at the main stage in front of the Reunification Hall.
The parade and march will take place at the same time, starting from the Nguyen Binh Khiem intersection and moving across the main stage in front of the Reunification Hall. The air force will use helicopters, YAK-130, SU-30MK2, to fly to celebrate the grand ceremony.
To serve the people and tourists, the organizers have prepared 20 live LED screens to broadcast images of the parade on Le Duan, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Le Loi, Nguyen Hue, Dong Khoi, Dien Bien Phu and Nguyen Dinh Chieu streets.
The artillery force will fire 21 cannon shots to the national anthem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. During the installation of the artillery, some roads will be closed to traffic from 9 p.m. to midnight or 3 a.m. the following day, starting from April 7 to April 26. On April 27 and 30, the artillery site will be closed to traffic during the day.
